Applications will be reviewed by an advisory board that includes scholars, librarians, publishers, and technologists from Duke, UNC-CH, NCSU, NCCU, TRLN, and other partner institutions, and will be evaluated based on the criteria outlined in the RFP.
Our goal for the 2020 Institute is to invite about 30 people to participate. We will likely invite a mix of small and large groups, and aim for a diverse set of projects and diverse set of participants both within and across groups. In past years of TriangleSCI we invited 5 or 6 teams, with 4 to 6 participants on each team. Given this year’s theme, we especially encourage teams with participants from organizations and backgrounds who work with communities that are not typically well connected with academia, but who would benefit from more engagement.
